I have been making quilts for my friends who have had babies and I decided that this one would be mine. I started with those iron-on transfer things that you can embroider on. Since this one was going to be for us, I picked little boys and little girls and made the little boys with red hair and green eyes and the little girl with brown hair and green/brown eyes. Once I finished embroidering, I pieced them all together with fabric and then hand-quilted- thus the very, very long delay on putting this thing together. Next time- machine quilt.
Anyway, yesterday I finally got to put the ribbon on and finish the blanket!
I also made a little blue teddy bear blanket this weekend. It was much easier because there was not embroidering involved and as I said earlier- machine quilt.
I hope you enjoy the pictures. I really had a fun time making these blankets.
(as you might have guessed, I'm not so good at adding pics, so there is one at the top and the rest follow the text). :)

WOW! Great job! I'm impressed!
Your baby will be snuggly warm in them!
I'm impressed too! I didn't know you were such a Suzy Homemaker.
PS. To put images where you want them, just upload them, then after you've typed your message, just drag and drop them where you want them to show up. That's what I do anyway.
When your uploading them, you can pick left, right, center, This controls what side of the text your image will be on. Obviously, left puts the image to the left, and then your text will fall to the right.
Large, medium, small controls your image size, so if you don't want the image to be mamoth, you can make it smaller in these options.
There are other ways to edit your image size and placement, but you have to do it in the coding. I suggest you stay out of the coding though because you can mess stuff up pretty good if you don't know what you're doing.
PSS I put in a word verification to stop spammers from posting to your account. This should stop them. If it doesn't we have other options.
