17 weeks
Well, I have decided to go by the date on the wheel and not the date on the ultrasound (see previous blog). So, by that account today is 17 weeks. And strangely enough, I can get back into some of the pants I couldn't wear last week. Actually, I think the truth is that I am clinging to the hope that they will still fit. I am very glad the low rise pants are still in fashion, but I am going VERY low rise- hey, at least I can still tell people I can still wear all my old clothes.
Petsmart and pee
Yesterday I took my dog to Petsmart to check out their new Pet Hotel. My husband and I are going on a trip soon and we need to leave the dog somewhere, so we went to check it out. After we looked around the hotel- which is pretty nice, btw- I took her browsing around the store just to get some energy out.
I forgot she has done this before, but now I do remember. The first display of dog food we came across (great big stack of 40lb bags on the floor) she decided looked interesting. So, she lifted her leg and peed right on the bottom bag. Yep, lifted HER leg. She does this. I went and told the guy working there and he pointed me in the direction of the clean up station, where they have paper towels and disinfecting spray. I cleaned up this mess and threw it away and went on my way with my little darling.
I thought she was done. NOPE. We came across another display of dog food and in mid leg lift, I pulled her away and told her no. Well, she just looked at me and continued to empty her entire bladder right there on the floor. Back to the clean up station for another big handful of paper towel and spray.
On the way to the trash can I notice my purse dripping, so of course I thought I had set the purse down in pee. Nope. I got to the car and tried to use my phone. Apparently somewhere in one of the pee cleaning sessions, my water bottle emptied in my purse. Now the phone doesn't work.
I don't know who to feel worse for- me and my cell phone or the person who buys the bag of food at the bottom of the display. :)
