It's official!

Blake is officially walking now. He actually prefers to walk these days, so I guess that's what makes it official. He will walk about 8-10 steps by himself before he falls and if you hold his hand, he will walk and walk and walk.

We went to the grocery store tonight and I let him down to walk (holding my hand) and he found these HUGE pumpkins. Seriously, like state fair sized pumpkins. I have no idea how much they weigh, but there are $60 so you can imagine how big they are. He kept trying to climb the pumpkins and then he would tap them and walk around them.

Then he found the balloons. Yep, the mylar balloons that are about $5 each. We like to go to Trader Joes and when we go there, he gets a free balloon, so now he believes every balloon at a grocery store must be free. No, I didn't buy a balloon. You don't realize how many balloons are in a grocery store until you go with a one year old. This kid will find a balloon anywhere. Next time you go, look around and I'm sure you'll be surprised at the number of balloons in a grocery store. I can't say I have ever seen anyone actually purchase one though.

Anyway, he's a walker now and I'm not so sure it's a good thing.
